We are set up at Northgate campground near Athen Alabama. It is nice and clean with electric, water, and WIFI
Next to Northgate Campground there is a large pasture and these bulls were there this year. As you may see the fence isn't much, so it's a good thing they were happy on their side.
Someitmes, when time allows we stop at Topsail Hill State Park. It is a short drive to Henderson Beach State park. Lots of good service and close to the gulf of Mexico.
This is our favourite site at Henderson Beach State park. Site 21 it is sucluded and only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach.
Life doesn't get much better than to relax on Henderson Beach. White sand, like talcum powder, lovely warm emerald green water. We can not find a better beach.
This is a site at Oak Creek Campground. It is in Northern Kentucky not to far from Cincinnati Ohio. Nice spot but a bit tricky to get to.
Across from our trailer at Oak Creek was this neat children play area. A few years younger and I would have been all over it.
At the east end of Henderson Beach State Park is
Henderson Park Inn. They have a live webcam that allows live views
of
their beach and the State park.
I won't bore you with more photo's Just know we had a great trip as usual. The sun, the waves, the beautiful beach with it's soft white sand, it is all just a great time. Even getting there is a fun drive with two GPS units to keep us entertained. The campgrounds and shopping it all adds up to a great relaxing trip after a very busy year at Windsor Castle.
