Edward Charles S Wheeler

This Page is about what "I" know of my Uncle, Edward Charles Samuel Wheeler. He was born in 1910 in the UK and came to Canada with his Mom and Sister as his Dad was already here. I am not sure where they moved to right away but when my Dad was born June 2014 they lived in a little village in what is now Chatham Kent.

I was born in 1946 four years after my Uncles untimely death in World War 2. I have no knowledge of him except from knowing his daughters the little I did. There were three and they seemed very nice to me. My Dad, my Grandparents, and my Aunt Florie were wonderful caring, loving, and gentle people and so I know he would have been as well.
This is the Wheeler Family 1914

The is the Wheeler family's first photo in Canada that I know of. The baby is my Dad, Albert Leslie. Edward Charles Samuel Wheeler is the other little boy in the photo. The girl is Florence Wheeler my Aunt. The woman is my Grandmother Florence Maud Wheeler. The other photo on Nana's right is my Granddad.

The home in the UK where they lived before moving to Canada

This is the family's dwelling before moving to Canada. The address is 51 Bedford Rd. Grays Essex UK

1911 British Cencus

This is the British Census from 1911. It tells names age and address of those living in this home. There is a fifth person there who I read is a border and he worked with Granddad so they must have been good friends.
